Information you provide
If you join the waitlist, PairPal receives the email address you submit. The signup request may also include campaign parameters, the page and referrer that brought you to PairPal, browser and device details, language, approximate display characteristics, time zone, connection information, and page-load timing. These details help operate the signup flow and understand how people find and use the site.
Website interaction data
On the PairPal home page, the site records a page view, scrolling progress, broad pointer or tap positions, viewport and page dimensions, elapsed time, and whether the browser reports automated control. This interaction telemetry does not record the contents of the email field.
Servers and network providers may also process ordinary request information such as IP address, browser identifiers, requested URL, and request time. The waitlist endpoint transforms the connecting IP address into a one-way rate-limit key before forwarding the signup to PairPal’s waitlist service.
How the information is used
The information is used to maintain and protect the website, prevent abusive signup attempts, add you to the PairPal waitlist, send waitlist or availability updates, understand traffic and interaction patterns, and improve the public experience.
Services that process data
PairPal is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes website requests and runs the waitlist endpoint. Waitlist submissions are sent to the ThatLev waitlist service and to a Google-hosted Apps Script used to record signups. Anonymous interaction telemetry is relayed to ThatLev’s analytics endpoint. These providers process information under their own service terms and privacy practices.
Retention and choices
Waitlist and operational records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed to run the waitlist, communicate about PairPal, protect the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve problems. You can ask to be removed from the waitlist or request access, correction, or deletion of your submitted information by emailing pairpal@gymshackles.com. Some records may need to be retained where required by law or for security and record-keeping.
You can avoid waitlist collection by not submitting the form. Browser settings and privacy tools may limit some technical data, although essential network requests still contain information needed to deliver the site.
Children and student users
The public waitlist is not intended to collect sensitive personal information. If you are not old enough to consent to online services where you live, ask a parent or guardian before joining. Do not submit school records, grades, health details, or other sensitive information through the email field.
